- Description: Sold by RedArc, the Encapsulated Protection Device has been designed to support the installation of RedArc's Tow-Pro Electric Brake Controllers. Utilised on vehicles where ‘back-feed’ of 12 volt during the Tow-Pro’s Manual Override function may interfere with the vehicle systems, the Encapsulated Protection Devices is designed to fit in the Trailer Stop Lamp. When installed correctly, the device ensures correct trailer braking and stop lamp operation when the vehicle brakes or the Tow-Pro Manual Override is used. Rated at 7 Amps for both 12 volt and 24 volt applications, it is totally encapsulated with sealed connections.
